Please reach us at support@nurture-nest.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Nurture Nest offers a bespoke part-time service, carefully planned to meet the needs of each individual child.
We offer the flexibility that you have been searching for.
Pre recorded, online modules that your child can access in line with their needs, with the option to add 1:1 online tutor/mentor support, as well as opportunities in the community or sessions from your own home (subject to a home visit and availability, for those local to the Weybridge and Woking areas).
Please see the list of sessions available, and contact Nurture Nest to find out more.
Nurture Nest offers support to children and young people who may be educated outside of a traditional school environment, or who may need additional support on top of that offered in school. We can provide support for those with Medical Needs, or those needing individualised Alternative Provision.
Our Online Modules and 1:1 tuition and mentoring is available to supplement the learning of Electively Home Educated families, looking for gentle and low demand child led approaches.
Nurture Nest can support your child throughout their Primary and KS3 years, offering tuition in a range of subjects, or by fully embracing a Supported Unschooling approach. We will discuss approaches that best meet your child's needs, as well as your family's wishes.
We also offer support to families navigating the education of their children and young people who aren't currently able to attend full time school. We understand the challenges that can be involved and will offer thoughtful advice to support you, as you try to balance your child's health needs and energy levels, alongside their ability to access an appropriate education.
Our experienced and compassionate tutor/mentor is also qualified teacher, who is experienced in supporting children with special educational needs, and has also worked to support the families of children with long term health conditions and medical needs.
Alongside this, she has personal experience of providing Elective Home Education and navigating the EHCP process and EOTAS provision, as well as supporting other parents and carers to do the same.
A background in Early Years Education and Outdoor Learning provides the foundation for the Nurture Nest approach, which is child-led and low-demand, offering gentle encouragement so that every learner can thrive.
Some of our services can be booked directly, using the Book button on our website.
Please contact us if online booking is not yet available for the service you require, or to discuss alternative timings.
